Class Schedule

Our drop-in style classes are on mornings and evenings, six days a week, to allow for life’s busy and ever changing schedule. Styles on offer include Ballet, Contemporary and Hip-Hop.

We use the online program MINDBODY as a booking and payment system for classes. To register for a Mindbody account, plus book and pay for classes online, please click here, or download the Mindbody app onto your device (cash payment not available). Click the button below to download.

Classes are subject to change, due to Theatre hires from time to time. Please check for updates on the Mindbody schedule.

HIP HOP BEGINNER

MONDAY

6.30PM - 7.30PM

Created for the absolute beginner with no dance experience or for those simply looking to get a great workout while having fun. In this class you’ll learn the foundations of hip-hop, sequences of steps and a choreographed routine. Leave your inhibitions at home and feel the free, soulful expression of movement found through hip-hop!

Tone, shape, and work up a sweat with grace and elegance. Designed for adults who have a passion to learn ballet but have little dance experience. This class teaches you the fundamentals of ballet, focusing on Barre exercises, posture and placement. Practice and perfect simple combinations of steps, turns and poses in the centre and moving across the floor. Perfect introduction to the basic techniques of classical ballet whilst improving muscle tone, posture, coordination and core strength.

BALLET ABSOLUTE BEGINNER

TUESDAY

6.30PM - 7.45PM

Never stepped foot in a dance studio, but always wanted to try ballet? This class is designed with the absolute beginner in mind. In this judgement free space you'll be taken through the basics of ballet; placement, posture and positioning, surrounded by other total beginners. When you're ready, you'll work your way up to the Beginner Ballet class to practice your technique and push yourself further.

Contemporary is our bread and butter! Designed for those with zero dance experience, this class takes all the intimidation and fear out of a first time dance class. Using the body’s natural rhythms and energy to create fluidity of movement, you’ll learn basic contemporary dance techniques and simple phrases, build strength and coordination, gain a better understanding of spatial awareness and leave feeling energised and invigorated.

Perfect for those with a little experience who are interested in contemporary dance, or for those looking for a motivating and relaxing way to keep fit. Suitable for students with prior experience, this class provides an opportunity to build on skills learnt in previous training or moving on from the Beginners level classes. This class will be more challenging, you'll perfect technique, learn more complex travelling phrases and longer combinations to great music. You'll work hard, but leave feeling completely energised and invigorated.

BALLET ELEMENTARY/INTERMEDIATE

SUNDAY

9.30AM - 10.45AM

Suitable for students with prior experience and a basic understanding of the foundations of ballet. This class will focus on developing technique at the next level, in a full ballet class with exercises at the barre, in the centre and moving across the floor. Dancers will expand their ballet vocabulary while learning more challenging sequences including adage, pirouettes and allegro combinations. If you're ready to push yourself, this one's for you.
