02 - 05 September 2021

Dunstan Playhouse, Adelaide Festival Centre

After being postponed in 2020, Garry Stewart’s Objekt is finally returning to Adelaide this year.

Blurring the borders between visual arts and dance, Objekt explores the objectification of humans. Originally created with the acclaimed tanzmainz in Germany, Objekt plays with perceptions and makes us see the human body in compelling ways that are unique, arresting and, at times, confronting.

First presented in Australia in 2016, critics have called Objekt, “a hypnotic pleasure to watch”, as well as “a riveting and exciting artistic achievement reflecting quality collaboration on all levels”.
