Worldhood by Garry Stewart, featuring Visual Artist Thom Buchanan, was made with the dancers of Australian Dance Theatre along with graduating students from the Adelaide College of the Arts.

Worldhood explores the nexus between live drawing and dance in relation to structures in architecture and nature. Thom Buchanan’s images are made through a vigorous physicality and performativity that are framed as dance. The work also reflects on the etymology of the term ‘choreography’ as ‘writing with the body’.
