TREAD

A PROFESSIONAL ENSEMBLE
FOR DANCERS AGED 15 - 25

A professional ensemble of emerging artists designed to foster the next generation of dancers, choreographers and movers on Kaurna Yerta.

Tread is Australian Dance Theatre’s young artist program giving a select group of dancers aged between 15-25 exposure to the company’s repertoire and training methodologies, aiming to foster the next generation of creative artists.

Tread offers a three-term program of training and performance opportunities to motivated young dancers who are selected by audition. Tread artists train at ADT’s home The Odeon (57A Queen St Norwood) and are led by ADT’s teaching artists, alumni and industry professionals to develop and advance their dance technique and skills.

Tread is an opportunity for young dancers to push their artistry to the limit in a fun and supportive environment.
Auditions for our 2025 Tread Program will be held from 5 -7pm on Wednesday 4 December.

    Program will run parallel to Term 1, 2 and 3 of 2025 SA Schools Calendar. Training Wednesday evenings from 5:00 – 7:00 PM

    Cost
    $300 (exc. gst) per term
    * Invoiced before each term period
    * Scholarships and financial support/planning can be arranged
