ADT is on the hunt for an extraordinary new dancer to join our ensemble of Company Artists. Aware of the shifts in our sector, we’re looking for artists who are generous, collaborative and take a lateral approach to the creation of dance works.
Australian Dance Theatre prioritises care for all artists, creatives, audiences and community members. We encourage applications from every corner of the community and work to provide a safe space for our artists. Culturally and linguistically diverse, First Nations/Blak, BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ dancers are encouraged to apply.
We’ll be holding auditions on Gadigal Country (Sydney) and on Kaurna Yerta (Adelaide):
Sydney Auditions: 7-8 September
Adelaide Auditions: 13 - 14 September

We'll be holding auditions in Sydney (Gadigal Country) on 7-8 September and Adelaide (Kaurna Country) on 13- 14 September. They will be led by Artistic Director Daniel Riley, Artistic Associate Brianna Kell, and an ADT Company Artist.
The first day of auditions will be comprised of creative tasks, improvisations and learning repertoire. On the second day, selected artists will be interviewed and work intensively with our artistic team.
Dancers must be available for both days in their selected city.
